Dark Horse
Named after his own record label, Dark Horse includes a version of Bye Bye Love (Everly Brothers) as a farewell song to his ex-wife Patti Boyd. The album rose to #4 in the US chart. Many say this is Harrison's most under-appreciated album because like the solo tour that it co-launched, it didn't do too well in sales.

This album has been described as smooth, soulful, sweet, and spiritual. What can you say -- the songwriting is synergistic, the back-up performers are the best.

* Thirty-Three and a Third was Harrison's first album released through his own record label (Dark Horse). Self-written and self-produced, its title was his age.
* Released in 1972, the Concert for Bangla Desh triple live album ranked #1 in the UK and #2 in the US, giving Harrison the prestige of being the only artist to sit in the top five of both US and UK charts with back-to-back triple albums.
* After a long silence, Harrison makes a resounding comeback in 1988 with a #1 hit, Got My Mind Set on You.
* George Harrison is quoted to have said, "Being a Beatle was a nightmare."
